Lay Member – Governance

We are seeking a Lay Member to join our Governing Body and help us to commission health and care services for the population of Fylde and Wyre.

You will have a lead role in overseeing key elements of our governance - our financial management and audit arrangements. You will work with clinical and non-clinical colleagues to ensure we achieve value for money from the services we commission.

You must have qualifications, expertise or experience to be able to express informed views about financial management and audit matters; be able to chair meetings effectively and be able to provide independent advice on governance issues, including conflicts of interest.

Time commitment – up to 4 days per month

Remuneration up to £13,267

The salary range for this post is determined in line with the national Agenda for Change Terms and Conditions of Service. Please Note that new entrants to the NHS will normally commence on the first paypoint of the relevant band.
