Workforce Planning and Transformation Manager

This post has been identified as critical to support the delivery of the Quality Strategy and People Strategy on our journey to ‘Becoming the Best’. We know that that we will achieve better services if we have the right staff, at the time, in the right place in order to deliver improved patient care. The Trust regards good workforce planning as a core component of good people management enabling improvements to health and wellbeing, staff engagement, career pathways and team delivery.


It is envisaged that the post will focus on delivery of the Trust’s annual priorities and the priorities identified in the People Strategy to make improvements to the workforce planning and transformation. This is an exciting and unique opportunity to shape workforce planning both Trust wide and at speciality level, specifically focusing on changes to operational care models, reconfiguration, advances in technology and opportunities for efficiencies. This post holder will work with our partners within Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland to ensure that we have an integrated approach to delivering improvements in workforce planning.


The successful candidate will bring working knowledge of workforce systems and processes and the ability to use this information in order to target areas for improvement. A high priority for the role is an ability to deliver significant transformational change.
