Solent have a great opportunity for you to join our Bank Staffing Service for temporary patient call advisors - be part of a high performing service who make a daily difference to patients!

Patient call advisors are the first point of contact for Patients and Health Care Professionals for a variety of services across the Southampton and Portsmouth area. These services cover our community nursing, child and family, physiotherapy and occupational therapy teams as well as sexual health, palliative care and podiatry teams.

You will be required to provide primarily a telephone service, duties will include:

  • appointment management
  • patient account management
  • referral management
  • waiting list management
  • other administrative duties.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, flexible, reliable and self-motivated people with excellent communication skills, that have the ability to work both within a team and directly unsupervised. Whilst previous call centre experience is not essential, you will need to be comfortable working to a daily monitored standards of quality and accuracy. Full training will be provided.

To make you aware, some of our services will require you to work on a shift basis, including a combination of early, late and weekend shifts some of which will be eligible for enhanced shift pay rates.

Please note that notification of our assignments will be given at short notice, so Bank work is more suitable for candidates that are available and flexible for these type of assignments. Our normal working days are Monday to Friday; your working hours can be discussed per each assignment opportunity.

This is a zero hours contract - Bank work is not guaranteed and is only available on an ad-hoc basis.
