An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic, motivated and experienced individual to join the Adult Intensive Care Unit at the Leicester General Hospital.

We are looking for a forward thinking individual who is able to lead the team and who will be a key part of the critical care reconfiguration for the Trust. They will work closely with a team of band 7 Senior Sisters providing direction and inspirational leadership to them and the wider nursing and multi-disciplinary team within our Intensive Care Unit.

The post holder will be an expert clinical practitioner with extensive experience at ward manager level and be able to demonstrate a patient focused approach to care delivery. They must have experience of continuous quality improvements and be able to problem solve and initiate change. The team of Matrons work as a cross site team and you will be required to support the wider ITAPS nursing leadership.
