We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our Patient Catering Team at the Leicester Royal Infirmary. Providing meals to over 850 patients.

 

 

 

The following vacancies are available at 2 hospital sites - Leicester Royal Infirmary and Glenfield Hospital.

 

LRI 7.30 – 13.30 27 hours

 

LRI 16.00 – 20.00 17.5 hours

 

GH 14.00 – 20.00 15 hours

 

Positions includes weekdays and weekends working on Rota basis.

 

The role of a Catering Assistant is to provide a high quality professional service in both the kitchen areas and on patient wards.

 

Catering duties will include:-
assisting with patient meal ordering and collating patient orders in readiness for patient meal service.

You will also be required to prepare food and other duties in the wash up areas in the main catering kitchen.

 

Experience in Catering would be desirable and a willingness to work towards gaining a Level 2 in Food Hygiene is essential.
