Saint Mary’s Sexual Assault Referral Centre, Manchester was the first SARC in the country and has developed an international reputation for delivering excellent training and events including its annual conference.

 

We are looking for a Training & Events Officer who is able to maintain this reputation but also able to be creative and innovative in terms of future delivery. Working closely with the Saint Mary’s SARC team, you will be responsible for organising and delivering a diverse range of events both internal and external, via conventional and emerging modalities.

 

You will possess significant training and event organisation experience. Resourceful, energetic and engaging, you will be creative and supremely well-organised, with a keen attention to detail. You will have experience and flair in networking and communication and be social media savvy to increase the reach and impact of the service. You will act as the main point of communication throughout the pre, during, and post event cycle.

 

Most importantly you will demonstrate a warm, friendly and professional manner in order to successfully engage with the SARC and wider hospital team, external delegates, sponsors, speakers etc.
