This is a national vacancy and the location is to be agreed with the successful applicant at one of our main NHS Blood and Transplant sites.

Within this role you will be an integral part of the ODT Clinical Governance Team and wider ODT directorate, supporting the development of the existing Clinical Governance processes across the ODT Directorate in line with the NHSBT Clinical Audit, Risk and Effectiveness Committee (CARE) Strategy. Utilising your problem solving and analytical skills you will investigate and manage incidents reported. You will be part of the team responsible for the sharing of the learning gained from both incidents and complaints, to improve practice and ensure the service provided to donor families, organ recipients and our stakeholders is the best and safest it can be.

You will have the opportunity to work with people of all levels across the whole of the Organ Donation and Transplantation (ODT) directorate and both the wider NHS Blood and Transplant and wider NHS.

You will have the opportunity to apply your excellent communication, presentation, analytical and questioning skills, applying attention to detail and accuracy at all times.

The normal working hours for this post is 37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday (flexible within normal office hours).
