Are you an experienced or soon to qualify Paediatric, Adult or Learning Disability trained Nurse looking for a new and exciting challenge in Paediatric High Dependency Care?

Ward 12 is looking for passionate nurses who enjoy the challenges and excitement of a busy, high dependency ward. As a team we are committed to providing the highest quality of patient care and are highly motivated, friendly and forward thinking.

Ward 12 is a fast paced 12 bedded High Dependency Unit ward which specialises in long term ventilation and respiratory care. In addition we provide care for paediatric patients requiring high dependency care for a variety of medical and surgical conditions, thus providing staff with an environment for continuous learning and development.

We work together as a multi-disciplinary team and facilitate a rich learning environment, maximising our knowledge and skills to provide the highest standard of care to children and their families. As part of the Ward 12 team you will be offered the opportunity to attend a preceptorship program and Paediatric Intensive Care Orientation Programme working alongside the Children’s Intensive Care Unit.

Shift patterns include weekdays (including bank holidays), Weekends and Nights.

Full time and Part time applicants will be considered.
