Do you want to join our friendly department and have a fulfilling career in Radiation Safety and Diagnostic Radiology?

The University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust is one of the largest Trusts in the country and we are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated clinical scientist to join our Radiation Protection and Diagnostic Radiology team.

Our service provides advice and support for both ionising and non ionising radiation throughout the 10 NHS hospitals in Leicestershire, private hospitals, GP dentists, vets and others.

Candidates will be based at Leicester Royal Infirmary but will be expected to work at all hospitals within Leicestershire.

We support research and development within the Trust, have links with local Universities and are an accredited training centre. Candidates should possess a 1st or 2nd class honours degree in a relevant subject and an MSc. in Medical Physics (or equivalent experience). Candidates should be registered Clinical Scientists but consideration will be given, at a lower band, to candidates able to register within 18 months.
