Part Time (22.5 hours per week)

The opportunity has arisen within the Finance & Procurement Directorate for a Cashier to work within Financial Services.

The working pattern for this role is working 7.5 hours per day Wednesday to Friday.

Your duties will be to assist in the delivery of an efficient and effective service for the Cashier Offices across all three hospital sites, primarily at the Leicester Royal Infirmary. This will be in accordance with statutory requirements, accounting guidance and agreed local procedures.

You will have 18 months experience within a customer service role with daily cash handling responsibilities within a busy environment.

You will have experience of working on your own initiative but also be able to work effectively within a team. You will be able to communicate confidently and effectively at all levels with customers and colleagues both orally and in writing.

You will be at ease using computers and computer software such MS Office. You will also have good written and oral skills to communicate with staff.

You will be an accurate record keeper with the ability to work under pressure and prioritise workload to meet deadlines. You will have a methodical approach to problem solving as well as following up actions to ensure completion.
