Referral Call Handler x 2 Posts

Bradgate MH Unit, Glenfield Hospital Site

Monday – Friday

Flexible 8am – 7pm

Band 2

The Crisis Team based at the Bradgate Unit provides assessment and treatment to individuals with a mental illness between the ages of 16 – 65. We are seeking to recruit enthusiastic and motivated individuals who deliver an effective and competent level of accurate call handling for callers to the crisis service. To represent the organisation in a professional and courteous manner in accordance with agreed protocols

The post holder will be responsible for taking set information from referrers. This will include the transferring of calls to the appropriate endpoint

You will also have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be able to communicate with a range of professionals, agencies, the public and colleagues.

You will also have a background in customer service and have experience of call handling or telephone work within an office environment

This is a demanding role and you must be able to demonstrate excellent IT and keyboard skills and have the ability to organise, plan and deliver to tight deadlines.

Suitable candidates will have demonstrable experience.
