We are looking for enthusiastic and passionate Band 6 District Nurses to join our bank.

We are looking for individuals to help provide District Nurses cover during times of absence (short and long term) our small and friendly district nursing teams across East Surrey.

The ideal candidates will have experience of working in busy environments and will have excellent customer service and communication skills, a flexible approach and an ability to adapt and prioritise their work.

The District Nurse will be responsible for the management of a caseload of patients, including case management of patients identified at being at risk of hospital admissions. The District Nurse will line manage a team off staff and be responsible for the development and competencies of staff within their team

Recruitment and Retention Premium

Recruitment and Retention Premium applies to the following posts:

Health Visitors, Paediatric Therapists, Podiatrists, Audiologists, Continence Nurses, Identified areas for Band 5 & 6 Staff Nurses and District Nurses.

Successful applicants within the staff groups above will receive -

  • £1000 upon commencement (payable in your first months’ salary) then;

  • £1000 after 6 months service subject to satisfactory completion of your probationary period.
