Band 5 nurse: Day Surgery Unit

Base: Loughborough Hospital

30hrs per week

We have an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled, motivated, confident nurse to join our Loughbrough Day surgery team. We are looking for a dynamic, experienced individual who is productive, patient focused and committed to treat our patients with the best possible care. You will require excellent communication skills contributing towards effective patient care and teamwork.

About the Role

This Staff nurse post will assist in delivering excellent patient care, developing your skills in Plastics, Podiatry, Ophthalmology, General Surgery & Gynecology. Also supporting the Ward Sister and Deputy Ward Sister in the running the department on a day to day basis.

The role will involve being in charge of the department in the ansence of senior staff, supporting your junior colleagues and students.

We are a small well developed team, with arange of expertise and experience which would support your learning.

Opportunities are available for staff to develop their knowledge and skills and you will be offered support for your on-going professional development.
