Mental Health Services for Older People

Band 7 Team Lead: Secondment/Temporary contract for one year as a pilot project - 37.5 hours: Monday to Friday 9-5

Based at City West CMHT, the New Build, Bennion Centre, Leicester

An opportunity has arisen for a Band 7 Team Lead, as a pilot project for one year, within the City West Community Mental Health Team for Mental Health Services for Older People.

You will be the senior clinician who manages and leads a diverse skill mix of Community Psychiatric Nurses within a multi-disciplinary team. You will have responsibility for supervision, leadership and development of nursing staff within the team. You will hold a clinical caseload providing comprehensive mental health assessment and intervention services to older people with organic and functional mental health conditions in the community.

You will need excellent communication and organisational skills and be a team player with evidence of experience in leading and managing teams. You will need to be a car driver and able to use your vehicle for work.
