We are delighted to offer an opportunity for a highly motivated, ambitious individual to join our Childrens’ Cardiology Service based at the Glenfield Hospital.

You will care for children when they attend our outpatient facility which offers multi-disciplinary clinics. You will provide practical advice and support for children and their families, and have the opportunity to further develop your own knowledge and skills in this specialist area.

You will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to ensure best outcomes for children with chronic conditions. You will need excellent communication skills to enable you to effectively engage in face to face consultations as well as telephone advice for both families and professionals. You will have the vision to further develop services to improve the care for children and young people within the cardiology team.

You will also have direct involvement to shape the future delivery and organisation of paediatric cardiac services as we move to our new facility in December 2020 which is based at the Leicester Royal Infirmary with the Children's Hospital.
