Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is ideally situated on the Fylde Coast just a 45 minute drive from Manchester. The Trust provides services to the 440,000 residents of Blackpool, Fylde & Wyre and North Lancashire, as well as specialist tertiary services in haematology, cystic fibrosis, cardiology and cardiothoracic surgery. We employ more than 6,500 staff, have approximately 900 beds and have a planned turnover in excess of £410m for 2017/2018.

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Registered Dental Nurse to join the Community Dental Service in Morecambe. The vacancy is fulltime and based within the Dental Access Centre.

The position involves supporting Senior Dental Officers in providing Urgent care, Special Care and Sedation Dentistry. The role includes decontamination, reception and other clinical duties, and cover at other Community Dental sites when required. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a caring approach to patients, be well organised and flexible in their approach to work and have the ability to work as part of a team.
