Applications are invited for an Academic Clinical Fellow (ACF) vacancy on a National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) ACF training programme in Ophthalmology at entry level ST3 at Health Education England South West – Severn in collaboration with the University of Bristol starting on the 5th August 2020.

This post will support the NIHR Platform Science (“-omics”) and Bioinformatics priority theme and candidates should be able to demonstrate how their research will support this.

Successful candidates will progress through the training programme, without further interview, subject to satisfactory annual reviewand award of CCT.

This NHS/academic partnership has a strong track record in developing clinical academics in a range of specialties whereby all trainees take advantage of the high quality research methods training and membership of the bespoke Clinical Academic Training school.
