Band 5 Endoscopy Staff Nurse

The Alliance endoscopy is looking for 2 Band 5 Registered Nurses.

30.0 hours based at Melton Mowbray Endoscopy Unit

28.5 hours based at St Luke’s Endoscopy Unit in Market Harborough

We are looking to recruit a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join an existing team of staff who are passionate about delivering high quality patient centred care. You will have the opportunity to develop new skills and consolidate existing skills whilst working as part of a strong and cohesive team.

You will need excellent communication skills and the ability to build and maintain good working relationships with colleagues and service users.

Good organisational skills and a flexible approach to work are essential.

Your daily duties will consist of admissions, recovery and discharge, working in the endoscopy room assisting with procedures, maintaining the patients’ airway, acting as a patient advocate when necessary, completing all documentation and working in the decontamination room.

Your preferred base will be discussed at interview and confirmed once successful at interview. There will be times where you will be expected to travel across site and help cover at one of the other Alliance hospitals. We have 4 endoscopy units in the Alliance, one at Loughborough Hospital, Melton Mowbray, Hinckley and St Luke’s in Market Harborough. Therefore ability to travel between sites and be a car driver is essential for the role.
