The University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust (UHL) are inviting applications for Trust Grade (SPR Level) Doctors in General Medicine and medical specialities. There are various Medical Specialties potentially available including Acute Medicine, General Medicine, Diabetes and Endocrinology, Medicine for the Elderly, and Infectious Diseases. The successful candidates will be able take up post for a fixed period of 12 months.

Trust Grade doctors at the Trust will be entitled to take study leave and allocated funding for training and study.

These posts will allow successful candidates to develop their clinical skills and experience in a hospital with a track record of innovative service delivery, excellence in training and clinical research. They would be ideal for Doctors wishing to increase their experience prior to applying for a SpR training post, especially in one of the specialities mentioned above.

The University Hospitals of Leicester is one of the largest and busiest teaching trusts in England employing over 11,000 members of staff, providing services to nearly a million people across Leicestershire and Rutland with all three hospitals delivering an acute general hospital service.
