We are looking for a highly motivated, flexible and creative Occupational Therapist to join our Children’s Therapy East Team supporting Portsmouth City and South East Hampshire.

The successful candidate will join a team of experienced Children’s Therapists working with families and other professionals from health, education, social care and community providers.

As part of the wider Solent NHS Children’s Therapy Service covering Hampshire, Southampton and Portsmouth City you will manage a varied caseload; providing an Occupational Therapy service to children with a range of needs in homes,schools and the community . In addition to developing your clinical delivery skills you will provide education/training to Children and Young People, Parents/Carers and other community providers.Using a tiered service delivery modelwe have invested in supporting universal and targeted delivery by others.The service is continuing to evolve to improve our ability to support Children and Young People, Parents/Carers to self-manage needs wherever possible.

With a degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy and HCPC registration and. experience of working with children; social services; long-term conditions or neurology would be an advantage. You will work across a range of sites across the area. Therefore the ability to travel between these is essential.

The team values supervision, training and support to develop you as a professional and practitioner with a variety of opportunities available.
