Lead Nurse/Senior Nurse Manager – Primary Care Services,Banbury Cross Health Centre

Hours: Full time 37.5 (part time minimum of 30 hours)

Location: Banbury

Salary: Circa £45,000-£50,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Seeking an experienced, highly driven and dynamic Senior Nurse Manager to provide professional and managerial leadership to the nursing and clinical support team.

Banbury Cross Health Centre (BCHC)has recently formed through the merger of West Bar Surgery and Banbury Health Centre. It currently serves over 25,000 patients with plans to expand further over the next year through the integration of several more local GP practices to ensure future sustainability and adopt innovative practice in delivering patient services. All practices involved have been rated Good by the CQC.

Your priority will be to shape and develop the team to expand its current clinical capacity, extend the range of competences and enhance the choice of services to patients. There is potential for you to work clinically within your own specialist area of interest.

You will be a qualified registered nurse with a minimum 5 years acute, community or practice nursing experience with a track record in successfully managing a clinical team to deliver a high quality services to patients. Whilst working in a primary care setting would be an advantage, demonstrating strong leadership skills and clinical excellence with an ability to transfer in to a new setting is equally valid.

PML is a growing organisation providing primary and community services in Oxfordshire and Northamptonshire. We are a not for profit company, owned and run by GP shareholders.

Banbury is historic and expanding market town on the River Cherwell in Oxfordshire and is on the edge of the Cotswold. Oxford, Stratford upon Avon and Leamington Spa are close by and there are excellent public and private schools in the surrounding area.
