The Falls and Fracture Prevention Service in Brighton are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Falls Specialist Assistant to reduce the incidence and consequences of falls across Brighton and Hove. The successful applicant will be required to work alongside our Therapists and Nursing staff within clinic and community settings, working with patients to prevent falls and fractures.

The post holder will have a falls prevention role in the Brighton and Hove locality of Sussex Community NHS Foundation Trust. They will form part of a dynamic team delivering tailored rehabilitation programmes to those who have, or are at risk of falling. This may be on a one to one basis or in an exercise group. They will provide administrative support, rehabilitation, equipment assessment and provision as directed by a senior member of the team. They will need to demonstrate good time management and organisational skills, and be able to work under their own initiative in a busy environment. The post holder will work closely with clients and their families alongside a range of services, both statutory and non-statutory, to reduce falls and maximise health, wellbeing and independence.
