EALING IAPT Service
Senior Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners (PWP)
Band: 6
1 Permanent Full Time 37.5 hrs
1 Maternity Cover 1 Year Fixed Term Contract (From April 2020) Full Time 37.5
Ealing IAPT is seeking to recruit one Senior Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner (PWP) and one Senior Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner to cover Maternity leave. Candidates must hold specialist PWP IAPT training and are looking to progress their career as part of our supportive and highly regarded team. We have a very well-established step 2 team, consisting of trainee and qualified PWPs. We provide a wide range of CBT-based interventions, offering groups, one to one sessions and online therapy (cCBT), in addition to the telephone and face to face assessments. We will offer the successful candidates the opportunity to co-facilitate a step 3 group, attend further training, and experience in carrying out audits relevant to the service. As senior PWP you will be part of a supportive senior management team and expected to carry our supervision and line management duties of step 2 staff Including providing clinical skills to trainee PWP’s and qualified staff.

PWPs have clinical variety and deliver sessions over the telephone, face-to-face, online, and in groups. There is a need to be able to work flexibly, with sessions in different locations across the borough.
In order to provide a service which is accessible to our clients, all staff are required to provide an evening session. We are also keen to hear from applicants who wish to attend further training in LTC.
