Join our Emergency and Medicine Leadership Team as an Operational Manager in the award-winning, innovative and high-profile Cardiology and Respiratory Clinical Business Unit (CBU).

Reporting to the Divisional Operations Director, the post holder will have lead responsibility for the day to day management of all operational issues in addition to taking responsibility of delivering high quality and efficient patient care.

We are looking for someone with proven operational management experience who is able to lead a large and busy CBU. The post holder will be someone who is highly motivated, with excellent interpersonal skills, a strong operational background with the ability to influence and engage others, has drive and energy and can think strategically in line with current NHS Long Term Plan drives and direction of travel. Applicants should be committed to personal development, have a proactive approach to change and be keen to work alongside clinical colleagues to develop and implement lasting service improvements, develop patient pathways which deliver best practice whilst maintaining financial performance. The successful candidate will also have experience in managing RTT pathways, in addition to experience in the management of budgets and staff.

This role will require you to work across both Peterborough and Hinchingbrooke sites.
