CSH Surrey is Surrey’s largest and longest established NHS community services provider (since 2006). We are part of the NHS, so our 1500+ employees get NHS pay and pensions, and also receive the Fringe ‘High Cost Allowance’ of 5%.

Our nurses, therapists and support staff provide adult community health services in the mid and north west Surrey areas, and children’s community health services for the whole of the county. Together we serve a population of more than 1 million people.

This is an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated individual or individuals who would like to help lead and initiate change across the organisation.

A Fixed-term opportunity has arisen for an experienced Recruitment / HR professional to work within the HR and Communications team, focusing on the recruitment streamlining and transformation agenda .

Your role in the organisation will include:

  • Support with the review of the entire recruitment life cycle – including processes, policies and systems – in conjunction with the recruitment team and implement long term effective and sustainable initiatives in support of the People and Culture strategy.

  • Providing highly professional, comprehensive and specialist advice to support the recruitment team and managers across the organisation ensuring all processes are up to date and adhered to, escalating to Head of HR as required.

  • Working collaboratively with senior nurses, ward managers and other key internal and external stakeholders to establish processes and systems which will enhance employee onboarding experience and reduce the time to recruit overall.

    The post holder is required to work independently on key aspects of the role, using their own initiative.

    As a senior member of the team, the post holder is expected to display leadership and role modelling skills within the nursing development and education team and also to the wider stakeholder group.

    Ideally, you will have:

  • Recruitment experience in the NHS

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Ability to work in a team and be able to use own initiative

  • Ability to engage with the team / managers to drive change

Recruitment - Golden Hello

Successful applicants, who have not worked for CSH within the last 12 months, will receive an amount of £2000 paid in two instalments: - £1000 upon commencement and a further £1000 following successful completion of probation. These payments are pro-rata for part- time posts.
