Have you never worked within Mental Health or Hospital Pharmacy, or are you looking for a change in the direction of your career? This role could be for you.

The pharmacy department at Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (GHFT) employ approximately 200 staff across the county, and within the department lies our specialist mental health pharmacy team, which provides a specialist mental health pharmacy service to Gloucestershire and Herefordshire.

Due to expansion of our service, we are looking for an enthusiastic pharmacist to join our dynamic mental health pharmacy team to help deliver the pharmacy service to Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust (GHC). As a Band 6 pharmacist, you will be working within GHC sites across both Gloucestershire and Herefordshire, and in our dispensary at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital. There will be the opportunity to further your knowledge by undertaking a department funded post graduate certificate in psychiatric therapeutics. In addition to good communication skills, showing initiative and the ability to work alone or as part of a team is essential. Both full-time and part-time working will be considered. This post includes a weekend working within GHFT and on call commitment on a rota basis (Approximately 1 in 12).
