Durham Dales Health Federation is a formal collaborative of the 12 General Practices in Durham Dales that have agreed to work together to co-ordinate and provide some elements of patient care jointly across the whole area.

Due to an expanding service we have an excellent opportunity available for enthusiastic and motivated clinician to join our team

We are looking for Emergency Care Practitioners/Nurse Practitioners with Primary Care experience to work with us. Ideally we are looking for a full time applicants, but would consider part time or job share.

Within the role you will provide care to a range of patients within your scope of practice. Working within this team, you would have the opportunity to work alongside GP Practices, care homes and community hospitals within the Durham Dales locality.

Providing advanced levels of autonomous practice by assessing, investigating, diagnosing, treating and referring patients acting in accordance with relevant professional codes of conduct.

Ideal candidates will have a range of experience gained working in a GP practice, Community or urgent care setting (primary care, minor injuries, accident and emergency or walk in centre), have qualifications and registration to support their clinical practice and will share our passion for patient care delivered in a community setting.

Excellent IT and communication skills are a key requirement of the role as well as a flexible approach.

Candidates must have current UK Driving Licence.

Salary is dependent upon experience, but will be competitive. Mileage paid, enhancements for weekend working and NHS pension available.
