Open Space Facilities Manager SME

The purpose of the Open Space FM Services lead role is to support the delivery of a sustainable, new integrated facilities service across the selected properties from the NHSPS portfolio for the NHS Open Space project.

The role has responsibility for providing advice and guidance to effective improvements and change on the delivery of new and improving facility services; covering all areas of facility services including front of house, Health & Safety requirements, security and assets requirements.


The post-holder needs to understand the NHS, NHS Property Service business, have expert knowledge on NHS customers and the services they deliver into the NHS. 

Be able to provide the advice to the NHS Open Space Management on how to develop and improve the facility services currently provided by the FM on site teams.  Working with the FM Services Manager they will develop relationships with the key FM colleagues including the POMs, SDMs, FMs, etc across the portfolio to help deliver both these services and manage the change.


This project requires this post-holder to work with the FM Services Manager and help drive and to continually improve the FM services currently being provided and assist in the change discussions and development of plans for the improvement of the customer experience.
