Central Park Surgery is a small friendly practice based in Leyland with approximately 4,500 patients.

We are looking for an Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our dedicated team for 16 hours per week on a Thursday and Friday. The ideal candidate will be a qualified ANP, have excellent people, planning and organisational skills and be able to work under pressure.

The successful candidate will also need to be flexible, highly motivated and be committed to tackling health inequality. Will have significant post-registration experience and be able to work autonomously and manage their own workload.

Previous primary care experience is preferred but not essential. Home visits for housebound and severely frail patients would be required. The successful candidate would ideally have an MSc/Post Graduate Diploma: Nurse Practitioner in Primary Care or equivalent.

We are a forward thinking practice with high QoF achievements. We are a training practice for undergraduate students from the University of Manchester. We are keen to embrace newer ways for delivering patient care and to meet the increasing demands in primary care.

We were rated as Good by CQC.

We offer a competitive salary dependant on experience, 30 days paid holidays per year pro rata plus Bank Holidays, excellent working conditions and on-going training.

All applicants must have their prescribing qualification.

For an informal discussion and/or practice visit please contact Vicky Ince on 01772 325117.

Disclosure and Barring Service Check

This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.

Tier 2 Certificate of Sponsorship

Applications from job seekers who require Tier 2 sponsorship to work in the UK are welcome and will be considered alongside all other applications. However, non-EEA candidates may not be appointed to a post if a suitably qualified, experienced and skilled EU/EEA candidate is available to take up the post as the employing body is unlikely, in these circumstances, to satisfy the Resident Labour Market Test. The UK Visas and Immigration department requires employers to complete this test to show that no suitably qualified EEA or EU worker can fill the post. For further information please visit the UK Visas and Immigration website.

From 6 April 2017, Tier 2 skilled worker applicants, applying for entry clearance into the UK, must present a criminal record certificate from each country they have resided continuously or cumulatively for 12 months or more in the past 10 years. Adult dependants (over 18 years old) will also be subject to this requirement.
