The Northern Care Alliance NHS Group (NCA) unites five local hospitals to deliver high quality care across the North East of Greater Manchester.

Main purpose of the job:

As an employer-provider; our Apprenticeship delivery team works within the wider People Development Team.

We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Apprenticeship Data Quality and Compliance lead, to join our team. Working throughout The Northern Care Alliance; you are responsible for leading and managing Data Quality and Compliance across our apprenticeship portfolio; which includes apprenticeships delivered by our external provider network.

Having a Post Graduate Qualification to Diploma level or equivalent experience along with a subject Relevant Degree or equivalent; the post holder will be providing expert guidance to The NCA and develop support performance processes to meet ESFA funding and costing requirements and Ofsted Framework.

You will develop data tracking and control systems to monitor and manage performance within the apprenticeship provision to ensure compliance with internal/external targets, agreements, regulatory and contractual requirements.

You will liaise with HEE and ESFA for data returns/submissions and reconciling errors. They will monitor levy spending and reconcile funding payments and liaise with Finance team to monitor apprenticeship budgets.

You will be responsible for creating and analysing data reports; including data quality and audit results to senior management and Apprenticeship progression reports to curriculum leads. Responsible for all Apprenticeship data including the learner evidence packs, you will manage our two administrators to ensure all data within our Information Management Systems including: Maytas, OneFile, BKSB, The Apprenticeship Service; EPA PRO and Pearson On-line meets regulatory requirements.

You will build on our existing Quality Assurance documents system and implement audit cycle and documentation processes to ensure all data meets compliance.

You will be responsible for the day to day management of the administrators and will manage their work performance to meet KPI and targets. This includes developing The NCA Apprenticeship webpages, management of the Apprenticeship in-box, tracking system and all promotional material.

You will demonstrate excellent IT, written and verbal communication skills; with excellent presentation skills to include presentation of data in a variety of formats e.g. spreadsheets, charts, PowerPoint presentations. You will need to develop and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders, often dealing with challenging and complex situations. Ability to travel throughout The Northern Care Alliance is essential.

Base: Learning & Organisational Development Department, NCA Wide, all new starters to Corporate posts within the Northern Care Alliance will be employed by Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust and be on a Salford Contract.
