Clerical Assistant- Cardiac Rehabilitation

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and flexible individual to undertake the role of Adminstration Assistant in Cardiac Rehabilitation. The post is offered on a part time basis at 15 hours per week and it would be preferable if you were able to work Monday and Wednesday (7.5 hrs each day).

You would be working in conjunction with the Cardiac Rehabilitation Nurses to provide a full range of administration duties which include:

  • Collecting referrals from the wards
  • Collating faxed referrals
  • Sending out appointment letters
  • Providing a reminder telephone call service to the patients regarding their pre-assessment appointment
  • Inputting all the information regarding referrals etc. onto the Cardiac Rehab National Audit database
  • Inputting patient demographics onto the discharge letters and faxing to the relevant GP

Ideally you will have some NHS experience and possess good IT skills, as well as excellent oral and written communication skills as you will be working directly with the public. You would need to display good interpersonal skills at interview.

Interviews to be held on 30th August 2019 at Leighton Hospital

There will be a short in tray exercise prior to interview
