The place to work in pathology

We are looking for top talent to join the UK’s leading and fastest growing pathology company – a scientific organisation with a clinical purpose.

Working in partnership with our service partners, Guy’s and St. Thomas’ Hospitals, King’s College Hospital and Bedford NHS Hospital Trusts, we aim to set the standard for the future of pathology.

How often do you get a chance to advance science?

Have you considered what you could find out if you could try new things?

Would you like your weekends and evenings back?

Working in Contract Research at King’s College Hospital, you will be working on unique, customised testing, designed specifically for the requirements of the research undertaken, which means you can take your existing skills to a new level, finding again a level of fulfilment that you might have been missing.

This varied work load makes for an interesting environment and a natural professional development platform; this includes trial design, assessing scientific validity, statistical analysis and methodology write-ups.

You will be combining your established biochemical and immunological experience to work on clinical trials for the NHS, academia and industry. Whilst keeping in mind the highest quality of results generation, you will be competent in establishing and developing SOPs in order to maintain reliability, in this field, this may mean performing kit verifications and writing whole new SOPs for assays not used previously.

This is a valuable opportunity to explore your interests fully and satisfy your natural curiosity; you will be responsible for the development and delivery of a broad range of complex, specialised immunoassays, such as, Retinol Binding Protein, Calprotectin, Bile Acids & Periostin; radioimmunoassays (RIA), such as, Glucagon, P3NP, 1,5 Anhydroglucitol (1,5-AG), and mass spectrometry assays, such as, bile acids, to name only a few of the 100 existing assays.

Having already completed your Masters Degree, you will also be interested to know about what’s next – there is a suite of development opportunities, delivered through the Innovation Academy and financial support through the Scientific Learning and Development Fund, it’s your career and your ambition, here are the tools to grow.

And… You get your weekends and evenings back, never missing that anniversary and having more time with friends and family.
