Primary Care Paramedic Practitioner 

A single site General Practice based in Loudwater, High Wycombe. We currently look after a list size of 10,776 patients 

We have an exciting new opportunity for a full time Primary Care Paramedic Practitioner to join our team of health care professionals. You will support the practice by: 

  • Responding to medical problems presented by patients, by telephone,

    face to face or home visits

  • Independently decide on and carry out treatment, including the prescribing of medicines if qualified

  • Consult and refer patients to physicians, medical specialists and other health professionals as appropriate

  • Ensure the provision of continuity of care including follow up consultations/visits

  • Empowering  patients to adopt health promotion strategies

  • Contributing to the clinical development of the practice by developing a special interest

  • Responding  to requests for advice and support from other team members 

    We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and proactive candidate to work alongside our clinical team to provide high quality care for our registered patients. 

    You will need to be a qualified and experienced HCPC approved paramedic with 2 or more years of proven record of working in General Practice dealing with patients presenting a wide range of medical issues. An accredited training in chronic disease management and a prescribing qualification are desirable for this role.
