The Practice is looking to recruit a full-time Treatment Room Nurse to work within our established, friendly nursing team.

This is a newly created post and would suit an enthusiastic nurse who is interested in helping us to provide key services around:

 

  • Wound care (including leg ulcer management)

  • Adult and child vaccinations/immunisations

  • Travel vaccinations

  • Cervical cytology screening

  • Ear care

  • Delivery of NHS Health Checks and provision of associated lifestyle advice/health promotion messages

  • Supporting GPs in the delivery of minor surgical procedures and Long Acting Reversible Contraception (e.g. coil and implant fittings)

 

Candidates should hold appropriate current professional registration and whilst previous experience would be an advantage, we are happy to offer training and development to the right candidate to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
