An opportunity has arisen for a Nurse with a special interest in wound care to join the Community Nursing Team in Spelthorne. All backgrounds in nursing considered, Community, Acute, Out Patients or Practice Nursing . This Senior Staff Nurse post, is being offered with flexible hours over a 7 day week. This post is to manage and provide nursing care, education within the Complex wound and Leg Ulcer Clinics, in residential homes and within patient homes.You will have a special interest in wound care and be able to evidence recent post registration training and education.This post is to cover patients within the Spelthorne Locality - Staines, Stanwell, Shepperton, Ashford and Sunbury so a car driver is essential, but your base will be mainly at the clinic in Staines Health Centre. You will be expected to be on a rota for weekend work, which is currently, one working weekend in three to four weeks. There are excellent opportunities for training and the team has experienced band 6 senior nurses, District Nurses and Team Leaders at Band 7 who will ensure that you have the necessary mentorship for your personal development. There is a CSH TVN Service and you would be expected to become the Spelthorne, Link Nurse for the TVN led Skin Integrity Forum. You must demonstrate a special interest in wound care, teaching and evidence recent training and be up to date with recent innovations in this area of expertise. Some experience of managing staff is desirable.




Recruitment - Golden Hello

Successful applicants, who have not worked for CSH within the last 12 months, will receive an amount of £2000 paid in two instalments: - £1000 upon commencement and a further £1000 following successful completion of probation. These payments are pro-rata for part- time posts. Payments will be subject to tax and NI National Insurance in the usual way.We don’t operate Golden Hellos for Band 7 or Band 8 posts, Bank posts or fixed term contracts.
