Band 6 Specialist Physiotherapist


Although position is 37.5 Hours part time hours will be considered

Are you an experienced physiotherapist looking to build on your experience? Are you looking for a role that offers job satisfaction? If you are, we have a full time position within our Community Rehabilitation team.


ACE provides Community Rehabilitation Services which are delivered by specialist clinicians working within Integrated Care Teams across North East Essex. We are looking for an experienced, motivated clinician to join our team. You will be a registered physiotherapist with demonstrable expertise in goal focused rehabilitation, supporting patients to become experts in their own care and to remain in their own homes.


As a Specialist Physiotherapist you will have opportunity to undertake a leadership role in planning, co-coordinating, delivering and evaluating the rehabilitation provided and be responsible for the supervision of junior staff. You will be able to demonstrate the ability to build networks and relationships over a number of sites and different clinical teams. You will embrace innovation and integrated working and will be committed to delivering excellence in care alongside other Physiotherapists, OTs, Technical Instructors and Assistant Practitioners.

It is expected that you will have excellent communication skills, enjoy working with a variety of service users of different age groups, have good self-management skills and an ability to prioritise your case load. It is essential that you are a car driver with access to a vehicle for work as you will be expected to travel across the North East Essex area.

We operate a probationary policy and all new staff will be subject to a 6 month probationary period. All Qualified Nurses will be required to undertake a Drug Calculation Test as part of this probationary period
