The Wirral is easily accessible to major airports and has excellent transport links including motorway, train, bus or ferry and within easy reach to the major cities of Liverpool, Chester and Manchester as well as neighbouring North Wales.

Shift pattern: Mon –Sun, 08:30-16:30 and on-call commitment

The opportunity has arisen for a permanent band 6 rotational post within a busy, Acute General Hospital, spread over two sites in Wirral.

We are looking for an experienced physiotherapist, who is proactive and able to work under pressure. You should have experience in a range of core rotations including Respiratory, Neurology, Msk Out patients and Medicine for the Elderly and you should be able to demonstrate your ability to clinically reason and deliver excellence in patient care. You should have good organisation skills including the ability to manage your own case load effectively.

You should have excellent communication skills and be able to work well within a multidisciplinary team. You should have experience in the development and support of others including students and more Junior staff.

You should be able to demonstrate what activities, roles and responsibilities you have undertaken in preparation for this post.

The successful candidate will be working within WUTH in a range of specialities, providing inpatient and/or outpatient intervention depending on the rotation.

It is expected that you will participate in the Respiratory on-call service and that you will take a full role in providing 7-day services where applicable.
