The Cambridgeshire Learning Disability Partnership (LDP) is an integrated health and social care service for adults with Learning disabilities living in Cambridgeshire.

We are looking to recruit an experienced and dynamic Band 6 Physiotherapist. The successful candidate will have experience relevant to working within a community based multi disciplinary team supporting people with learning disabilities. As an autonomous practitioner you will manage a specialist case load providing assessment and interventions of the health needs of adults with a learning disability as well as embedding the assessment for and use of assistive technology within this client group. We would like the successful applicant to undertake sensory integration training if the opportunity arose.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a developing Physiotherapy service for people with learning disabilities within the Cambridgeshire area and this will require you to contribute to the planning, development, and evaluation of learning disability services, including contributing to defined projects.

The LDP is interested in devising and adopting a model of care that is focused towards progression and see's the Physiotherapist as a key professional in contributing to this service development. The successful applicant will be an integral and active member of the multi-disciplinary LDP team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong team work ethic, sense of accountability, accompanied by an ability to work under considerable pressure at times. This post is open to professionals with the right attributes to enhance a team.
