The Clinical Research Division (CRD) at Alder Hey Children’s NHS Foundation Trust is seeking to recruit experienced Data Administrators on a fixed term basis to support the data requirements of a portfolio of research studies. The role forms an integral part of the delivery team that work throughout the hospital to deliver high quality clinical research studies across all disciplines.

The role involves ensuring that patient data and information is collected and recorded in a timely manner, that forms are completed according to set protocols and data queries answered.

It is fundamental to ensuring studies are delivered in a safe and effective manner and that adverse events are reported. Each study comes with site files and maintenance of such files will, in part, be the responsibility of the data administrator.

The data administrator will support the data and administrative needs of research nurses conducting studies and is required to have previous experience of this.

You will be based within the CRBU in the Institute in the Park amongst a large research delivery and support team and will be part of a team of five data administrators.
