Administrator to Matrons and Consultant Nurse

Full Time, Band 3

Salary: £18,813- £20,795 dependant on experience

Based at Royal Papworth Hospital, Cambridge Biomedical Campus

The Critical Care Unit leadership team (Matrons and Consultant nurse) are looking to recruit a full time (37 ½ hours a week) member of staff to assist the Matrons and Consultant nurse with all of their administrative requirements.

The successful individual will be responsible for key areas such as co-ordinating meetings and associated formation of agenda’s and note taking, diary management, data entry and formulation of some regular reports as well as other general assistance with administrative tasks for the senior Nursing team.

This post requires the ability to work both independently on own initiative and also as an integral member of the Critical Care unit team with a flexible and accommodating approach.

  • NVQ 111 or equivalent experience in administration
  • Experience in an administrative role
  • Excellent communication skills and are able to deal with all types of people from all backgrounds and professions both internal and external to the hospital

  • Experience in a customer care environment is desirable
