West Hertfordshire Diabetic Eye Screening Programme is responsible for providing a photographic eye screening service for the diabetic population of West Hertfordshire (approximately 31,000 patients) to ensure the early detection of sight-threatening diabetic eye disease.

Due to increasing demand, we are looking for a self-motivated, dynamic and flexible individual with excellent communication and organisational skills to join our friendly team.

Previous screening experience and qualification is preferred, however training will be provided for the right individual.

The post holder will have the ability to work enthusiastically and effectively in an innovative and conscientious department, providing a high standard of patient care during eye screening clinics. The role entails working at different locations throughout West Hertfordshire.

A full valid driving licence and access to a car to use regularly for business purposes is essential (unless you have a disability as defined by the Equality Act 2010)

In addition to the basic salary, this post attracts a High Cost Area Supplement of 5% of basic salary subject to a minimum payment of £1,017 and a maximum payment of £1,762 per annum (pro rata where applicable).
