Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust was formed on Tuesday 1st October 2019, following the merger of 2gether NHS Foundation Trust and Gloucestershire Care Services NHS Trust. The two Trusts joined together to provide integrated mental health, physical health and learning disability services to communities.


Dental Officer – Community Dental Services

Band: A

Salary: £39,638- £59,457 pro rata

Hours: 22.5 Hours Permanent

Base: Stroud Dental Clinic

Applications are invited from caring and enthusiastic dentists for this post which will be based in Stroud. The post holder will deliver dental care and advice to adult and paediatric patients accessing the Community Dental Service. This post is full time substantive and previous experience of working within a Community Dental Service environment will be an advantage.

This vacancy is subject to an Enhanced disclosure with both an Adults and Children’s Barring List check. Successful candidates are expected to undertake a DBS check at their own cost and sign up to the DBS update service.

Flexible working arrangements will be considered. Any request will be set against genuine operational requirements and limitations and it is not obligatory for a manager to accede to the request.

For positions Band 8a and above there is a requirement to participate in an on-call rota to ensure a high quality of care for patients at all times and continued support to all staff with access to the right knowledge and expertise.
