The busy Metabolic Medicine Nursing team are looking for a self- motivated, dynamic and reliable individual with a passion for working with children from birth to adolescence with medical inherited metabolic disorders.

You will work both closely and independently with members of the multi-disciplinary team. The position will include treating and being nurse advocate for patients in several clinical settings including out-patient clinics, Medical Day Care, wards and occasional outreach work.

At the start of your position with the Metabolic Team, you will receive an induction package and training with individual members of the team including the dietitians, Newborn Screening Nurses and the laboratory.

When established within the job you will be expected to take lead with Transition clinics using the Ready Steady Go programme
