Do you want to work in a team to support clinical services in improving patient care? Do you want to deliver intelligence and create insight?

If so, we have the ideal opportunity: we are looking for a Senior Information Analyst in our Business Intelligence Team.

Key responsibilities include:
* developing bespoke reports in online reporting functionality (Performance Information Portal)
* working with an Information Analyst to provide regular and ad hoc intelligence to our clinical teams
* carrying out complex, in depth analyses such as capacity and demand analyses with real world impact

Business intelligence technical skills are important and we are looking for an experienced analyst with experience of producing reports and data manipulation in spread sheets and databases. However of equal importance is an ability to engage with clinical services, to interpret their requirements and to understand what our analyses tell us about the real world. The successful individual will have highly developed communication skills and the ability to engage non-technical colleagues with the results of their analyses.

The interviews for this vacancy will take place from the 31st July to the 2nd August.

If you are successful in being offered a position which involves working with patients, you will be required to undertake a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. The level of check required is dependent upon the position that you have applied for. The Trust will administer the DBS check on your behalf and will recover the cost (Enhanced £48.83 or Standard £30) from your salary. There will be no charge if you are enrolled in the DBS Update Service.
