Are you the person we are looking for? Applications are welcome from experienced Project Managers who are enthusiastic, professional people who want to join our IT PMO team as a Project Manager to cover a secondment, until July 2020.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading multiple ICT projects and will:-

• Ensure robust project control using defined Project Management processes and ITIL
• Maintain high professional standards, provide guidance and leadership in order to establish, direct, and motivate project resources.
• Manage Internal, Partner and other external relationships as required for successful delivery of the project outcomes.
• Report progress of the project to the ICT Programme Manager and the Project Board.
• Ensure that all activities are undertaken in accordance with project plans, identify exceptions or off-target activities, and initiate corrective action as necessary.
• Use good judgement and experience to identify issues that could put the project at risk and recommend appropriate mitigating actions.
• Maintain effective financial control of the project, ensure the project delivers within budget, and that project cost records are maintained.

In addition to the basic salary, this post attracts a High Cost Area Supplement of 5% of basic salary subject to a minimum and maximum payment per annum (pro rata where applicable) in line with Agenda for Change.

A full valid driving license and access to a car to use regularly for business purposes is essential (unless you have a disability as defined by the Single Equality Act 2010).
