Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust was formed on Tuesday 1st October 2019, following the merger of 2gether NHS Foundation Trust and Gloucestershire Care Services NHS Trust. The two Trusts joined together to provide integrated mental health, physical health and learning disability services to communities.


Specialist Community Public Health Nurse (Health Visitor)

Band: 6

Salary: £30,401-£37,267 pro rata

Hours: 37.5 Hours per Week (Cheltenham) 25.5 hours per week (Tewkesbury)

Location: Cheltenham and Tewkesbury Localities, Gloucestershire.

We are seeking to recruit Specialist Community Public Health Nurses (Health Visiting) to join an evolving and innovative team, working to deliver the Health Visiting service to all young children, families and community within the county.

There will be exciting opportunities to develop practice. In addition we offer comprehensive preceptorship programmes, clinical and safeguarding supervision, mentorship and ongoing opportunities for continuing professional development.

If you have a Specialist Community Public Health Nursing qualification and are looking to join a forward thinking, proactive Health Visiting team committed to improving the health outcomes of children, families and communities then please come and join us. For positions Band 8a and above there is a requirement to participate in an on-call rota to ensure a high quality of care for patients at all times and continued support to all staff with access to the right knowledge and expertise.
