Solent Mind run the italk service in partnership with Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust which is one of the largest Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) services in the country. We are now recruiting for:

Step 2 IAPT SENIOR PSYCHOLOGICAL WELLBEING PRACTITIONERS

Hours: 37 Hours Per Week (part time considered, minimum 30 hours per week)

Salary Range: £27,542 - £29,662 per annum

Location: Gosport and Basingstoke (occasionally Eastleigh)

We are looking for Qualified Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners who are highly motivated, flexible and a strong team player to support colleagues within the Senior team, as well as the Senior Management team. You will also need to be a good role model with strong professional boundaries to provide support and leadership, both clinically and operationally, across our hubs within Hampshire. The ability to negotiate and build relationships with external agencies is also vital to this role.

The post holder will need a secure knowledge of Step 2 IAPT based treatments in order to deliver these to patients as well as to help develop, support, train and provide clinical supervision to the rest of the team. You will also have opportunities to line manage and develop new trainees during these 6 months in post.

Successful applicants will need a Postgraduate or Degree Certificate in Psychological Therapies, be able to demonstrate sound knowledge and practice at Step 2, as well as strong clinical decision making. Ideally candidates will have previous supervisory experience, however this is not essential.
