Both hospitals within our Trust—Chelsea and Westminster Hospital and West Middlesex University Hospital—were rated as ‘Good’ overall.

Our Trust was awarded an ‘Outstanding’ rating for ‘use of resources’ by an NHS Improvement inspection which was completed during the same period as the CQC assessment.

The Role


Junior Clinical Fellow in Emergency Medicine, West Middlesex, London

We are seeking Junior Clinical Fellow in Emergency Medicine to join our team here at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust at the West Middlesex site. The West Middlesex site has a long history of pioneering, innovative healthcare. Based in Isleworth it is at the heart of the local community- a modern, award-winning hospital with state of the art facilities. The Accident & Emergency Department at the West Middlesex Hospital sees approximately 70,000 patients each year and offers excellent experience in a busy department. There is also an attached Urgent Care Centre which opened in March 2012. Although this post is not formally recognised for training purposes the successful applicant will be involved equally in the internal training opportunities. This post will be fully integrated into the activities of the department. A full shift system is in operation, compliant with the New Deal, band 1A. There is a strong emphasis on teaching, and audit and research are also encouraged.
