Are you a student Nurse qualifying this year? Are you looking for a Staff Nurse role where you can consolidate your skills and develop new ones in acute care? Are you interested in specialising in Respiratory or in the future having a career in A&E or ITU?

8 East at the Royal Free Hampstead site is a diverse, vibrant and social team who are looking for a small number of Newly Qualified Nurses.

On 8 East we manage patients with acute respiratory needs as well as acute medical ones. This combination allows nurses to learn advanced respiratory skills, for example, being competent in managing patients’ requiring Non-Invasive Ventilation, blood gas interpretation, tracheostomy, cough assist and chest drain patients but also gain skills in managing complex general medical patients who often have complex nursing and social needs.

We offer our nursing team fantastic opportunities and have an excellent track record of providing career progression and developing leaders. We have an excellent in house respiratory course and link with Kings College London University to provide an academic component to this.

The Royal Free is located in Hampstead, Central London, right next to the beautiful, open Hampstead Heath with its independent shops and only 15 minutes from Oxford Circus.
