We are looking for a Team Leader for our Clinical Systems Support team within the IM&T department. The successful candidate will take responsibility for the daily management of team, by;

  • Ensuring processes are adhered to and continuously improved
  • Ensuring service level agreements are met
  • Monitoring and optimising productivity
  • Line Management of the team, including absence and capability

The Clinical Systems Support team provide services such as:

  • Second line support for clinical system issues that cannot be resolved by the service desk
  • Configuration of all clinical systems, including user set-up
  • Support and development of automation routines
  • Management of the trust’s Registration Authority (smart card service)

This role is offered initially on a secondment basis with a potential to becoming permanent. The ideal candidate is someone that would like to either progress or start a career in NHS management. They would need to be personable in order to manage staff successfully but also thorough to ensure work standards are met. Previous experience of IT is desirable unless the applicant has demonstrable suitable experience to bring to this role. An interest in continuous improvement would be advantageous.
